Helios Coatings announces it’s 21st century, highly durable Metallight™ coatings - which can quickly turn your stock OEM painted alloy wheels into a premium metallized product providing extra profit margins for you and your salespeople. Most recent experiences have proven a 100% to 300% return on our customers’ cost per set of wheels.
Our highly durable Metallight™ coating process harnesses our environmentally friendly, patent pending technology to quickly produce a durable, bright or dark metal finish - a vast improvement over unreliable plated chrome surfaces.
In addition, we warrant our Metallight™ coating for the remainder of the vehicle’s OEM warranty or four years, whichever comes first. Our coating system, which does not use traditional plating processes, meets or exceeds the durability standards of the major automobile manufacturers.
Plating pollutes. Our process does not. DaimlerChrysler, Ford and General Motors are phasing out plated chrome from their vehicles and parts. Our environmentally friendly process can be used by OEM’s and parts manufacturers who have banned hexavalent plated chrome.
Within 10 to 14 days of receiving your OEM painted wheels at our state of the art facility centrally located in Canton, Ohio, we will strip, Metallight™ coat and deliver them to your supplier or dealership.

The Dealer Exchange Program:
- You or your supplier send sets of four matching painted wheels, via your choice of freight carrier, to our state of the art coating facility, centrally located in Canton, Ohio.
- We strip (with our OEM approved process) and coat your wheels with our patent pending leading edge Metallight™ coating system.
- We then promptly return your wheels to you or your supplier, FOB Canton, Ohio, for installation on your vehicle. Expedited processing is available for a slightly higher charge.
- You now have durable premium metallized wheels to sell that are backed by the Helios Coatings warranty.
You determine the profit margins for your coated wheels as your only “cost” is in the dismounting, shipping and coating of the wheels. Most recent experiences have proven a 100% to 300% return on our customers’ cost per set of wheels.
Metallized finished wheels command much higher retail dollars which you and your salespeople capture. With our Metallight™ coatings and our warranty, you can love again bright metal finishes without fear.
While our Metallight™ finish is a bright durable metallized coating, we do not use a plating process. Harnessing insights into acrylics, urethane, metals and physical vapor deposition, we have developed a patent pending process that results in a more durable bright metal finish than plated chrome. Our dealer customers can take comfort that when a Metallight™ set of wheels goes out the door, their customers will be happy, and will stay happy.
